September Program: Vicki Conley

Willamette Valley Quilters are excited to welcome Vicki Conley from New Mexico to our September meeting. Her program
will be “Inspired by the Parks.” Vicki will share her inspiring journey through the national parks and how she combined photo
inspiration and imagination to make graphic style art quilts. She will share funny stories, give a little history about the parks, and touch a little on the various techniques used, turned edge machine piecing, fussy piecing and silk screening.

Following the meeting, Vicki will teach a 3- hour workshop. In this class, you will learn Vicki’s technique for turned edge machine
piecing using a choice of either a slot canyon pattern or a donkey pattern. The cost will be $35.
