September Meeting – Jean Lasswell

Jean has been quilting since the early eighties. Like many, she began making baby quilts but soon followed a path to contemporary pictorial quilts. Her main focus is small quilts, often with a personal meaning. After moving to Oregon twenty-one years ago, she became a founding member of Westside Quilters Guild. She is currently managing TArts, the guild’s art quilting group. In addition, Jean has a small vintage business, and she enjoys spending time with her husband, her sister, and her two cats.
